OHMI has four levels of choral education.
Elementary Chorus is for students in 3rd – 5th grade to learn the basics of music through singing. They use hand percussion, learn music reading, beginning sightsinging, and vocal technique.
Middle School Chorus is for students in 6 – 8th grade to learn sight-singing, vocal technique, and music theory. This choir attends MSVMA Choral Festival.
Concert Choir is for students in 9 – 12th grade to learn sight-singing, vocal technique, and music theory from a beginning to intermediate level. This choir attends MSVMA Choral Festival.
Advanced Choir (Musica Celestiale) is an advanced level high school choir performing more difficult repertoire, intermediate to advanced sight-singing and music theory. This choir attends MSVMA Solo & Ensemble Festival.
